Drydocks World completes over 300 projects a year on average, with a record of handling 42 refurbishment projects simultaneously. The yard is spread over 200 hectares, 4 dry docks, with the largest dock capable of handling the world’s largest ship, and over 3,700m of berth space. Innovative projects have been constructed in Drydocks World, breaking records for some of the largest new build offshore fabrication projects worldwide.

Marine Repair • GOS provides services to vessels alongside berths in any port and offshore at anchorage. • The GOS flying squad has experienced technicians to carry out voyage repairs on vessels coming to and leaving the port.
Industrial • The General Engineering section provides the services of Drydocks World – Dubai to local and overseas onshore companies. • Heavy machining, Balancing, Mechanical works/repairs, rewinding/repairing of medium & low voltage motors & generators, instrumentation, hot dip galvanizing, large structures, bollard pull test, & all types of piping are some of the work undertaken by the General Engineering section.
Hydraulics •GOS has carried out a wide variety of hydraulic jobs on vessels in the main yard, in Ports, anchorage and in International waters. • GOS is experienced in working on various types of hydraulic pumps, motors, control blocks, steering gear systems, cranes, hydraulic tubing and refurbishment of hydraulic systems.
